# WY 7 – South Upton: Pronghorn Tactical Analysis ## Terrain & Access Rolling high-plains habitat at 3,895–5,155 ft elevation with only 28.5% public land. Most hunting occurs on private ground; public access is limited and will be crowded during archery and rifle seasons, particularly early in archery when 1,500+ licenses are in circulation. ## Herd Quality & Population Herd composition improved significantly: buck:doe ratio rose from 34:100 (2022) to 44:100 (2024), rated "Exceptional" in 2024.
